Apparently Ramirez is not ready for the fight. Andre Dirrell moved above him in the IBF rankings anyway.

Imagine going from potentially fighting Carl Froch in a stadium to fighting Rocky from Stocky?

Tough sell as well. This Fielding seems to have the personality of a turnip.

Lol @ Fielding saying Kessler dont deserve a shot, the guy went life and death with Froch in a fight some perceived as a draw.id like to know why anyone feels Mikkel is not deserving of a title shot,he came to his challengers back yard as a champion to defend and lost in a tight affair,if anyone deserves a crack it is the Dane, and certainly not Chavez Jr wtf has this guy done since he got schooled for 11 rounds in 2012.the double standards on this site are amazing.

It doesn't HAVE to be in the UK but Olympic golden boy DeGale has become sky high popular again in England after annihilating Gonzalez and Periban and if it goes to purse bids it will surely land here because Dirrell, skilled boxer that he is, is hardly a crowd magnet in his own country.

Besides all this i have a feeling Froch vacates and still doesn't get the Chavez fight.not sure why, just a feeling.
Dirrell doesn't sell any tickets. Degale in the UK would bring in more money especially if it were for Frochs title if he were to vacate.

Think you may have read my post wrong. I'm saying Kessler doesn't deserve a title shot. He's been in semi-retirement for what? Almost 2 years now?

If you scored the rematch with Froch as a draw, then you should stop watching boxing. Froch quite clearly won the fight and there was no argument about it.

And I'm talking about for a fight against DeGale. Kessler doesn't deserve to jump the queue ahead of the likes of Dirrell who has moved up the rankings.

Having said all that, I'd like to see Kessler-DeGale sometime.

I read it wrong.apologies,I thought he was saying it not you.

The fight I had 115-113 Froch taking the last round with his late flurries after hitting the Dane with the lowblow,a round that was pretty much a swing round until that point.had Mikkel have taken that round I'd have scored a draw.i was remarking some scored it a draw, notably Virgil Hunter, but I suspect he was trolling the winner,as Froch had trolled Ward leading up to the fight.

You are right Mikkel does not deserve to jump the queue, but he is certainly deserving of a shot for any title, even now.his services to the sport, his previous displays, injustices in a certain loss so on.

                  I'm not actually disagreeing with,for a change.

Virgil Hunter is not exactly a credible source for that fight. He was bitter that the two guys his boy beat were fighting it out in a mega money match.

Froch won the fight close but clear. He boxed Kessler's **** off for most of the first half of the fight.

Services to the sport? Lol.....not having it. I would like to see him box DeGale and the winner gets Froch.

I would like to see DeGale vs Kessler. That's an interesting match up.
