            he leans forward to give the impression he's closer to u than u think he is, so when they pop the jab, Floyd leans back with his weight still on his front foot and punches you in the face with his freakishly long arms. . . There's probably a bit more to it than that, but that's the jist of it.

              I would not want to throw a straight right or in my case as a southpaw, a straight left with both feet off the ground. Some of the power of a straight right comes from the legs but all of the power that comes from the legs is gone when the feet are off the ground. If a fighter is floating through the air even a light punch could knock him down and cost him two points. Most good fighters don't throw punches with both feet off the ground. Mayweather is of course a great fighter but not because of this bad tactic.

                I must say I can't remember Floyd throwing these flying straight rights. Floyd has a quick, sharp, arrow straight right thrown correctly with his feet on the ground. It's a hell of a punch.
