By Lyle Fitzsimmons - If you’ve gotten to this point and aren’t happy, it’s your own fault.

You should have seen it coming last week.

As has become tradition in the typically Tuesday (but this week, Wednesday) morning space in late December, we ring out the old year with a recap of the predictions made 12 months in advance.

It was, if you recall from last week, a forecasting year to forget.

But hope springs eternal, so – in the recurring quest to match the glory of our spot-on advance pick of Andre Ward as fighter of the year in 2011 – we’re giving it another go for 2015.

Unlike football, baseball or their collective ilk, there are no master schedules from which to pluck events to predict. And even if I was prescient enough to know now which fights would be made between which guys, say, next October, there's always a chance that three people sitting on the ring's perimeter would pound my forecasting into dust with their definition of what constitutes a “boxing lesson.”

But those are excuses and gripes for another day. Today is a day of forward thinking, and with that, here are the advance story recaps that other boxing scribes will be writing about 12 months from now. [Click Here To Read More]

If wilder gets dropped, it won't take another 4 rounds to get rid of him. If theres 30 secs left in that round then he's not getting out of it conscious.

Edit: on second thoughts he would if Stiverne plays with him like he did Arreola. Always thought it was weird that when he should've went in for the finish he let Arreola recover and come back into the fight.

Wow , that's some daring prediction.

I can't imagine what would happen on BS if Khan was to actually beat Floyd. A guy like Khan would gloat over it for the next 50 years at least, daily, I envision some suicide attempt on this forum.

Wilder getting K.O.'ed is probably the least surprising prediction, Stiverne is a big step up for him.

And last but not least ... Saul Alvarez losing a close fight on the cards?.

I don't think they'd let it happen. I mean, Cotto only collaborates with TR, while Canelo is probably the last big name fighting for De la Hoya.

If the fight is somewhat close Canelo gets the nod imo ...historia magistra vitae.

How's Khan beating Floyd an Upset???

Its always on the cards and any sane boxing fan knows that Khan is a threat to Mayweather and can beat Floyd .

There's a reason why Mayweather picked Maidana instead of Khan (Despite of Khan winning on his Poll by a landslide).

I guess to define an upset you go by betting odds and general opinion.

Mayweather will obv be the betting favourite as he always is, and most heads will favour Mayweather to win but will give Khan "a chance". Look at all Khans supporters, Roy Jones and Paulie said they give Khan a shot to trouble him but they don't necessarily back him to win.

He only takes a fight if he's got the monopoly on speed and skill. He wouldn't have that against Khan and he knows it, everyone knows it. I hear he's going to fight Miguel Cotto again, who on earth would want to see that?
