The most successful of those was the TBS televised card which featured Hisashi Amagasa (28-5-2, 19) fighting against Guillermo Rigondeaux and Kazuto Ioka (16-1, 10) fighting against Jean Piero Perez. This card got an amazing 9.0% of the audience, which we've been told was around 11 million, not the widely reported 30 million. For 30 millions the channel would have had to have had around around 24% on the viewing population.
Rigondeaux Vs Amagasa gets 11 viewers million!

A lot of people don't know this but December 31st boxing cards always do great in Japan. It's like our May 5th.
Which is why they already want Rigondeaux on this year's Dec 31st card again. He found a really good market and should keep fighting there since its good money, fair judging and people will appreciate him in Japan. He should do that until guys like LSC grow a pair.Last edited by ИATAS; 01-06-2015, 09:43 PM.Comment
