Comments Thread For: Team Pacquiao Give Mayweather Talks Until Month's End

Assuming you are not Floyd yourself or his paid employee, don't you even want Floyd to show a little more serious intention of fighting Pacquiao by not giving all those stiff conditions just to make the fight? Now you don't think 3 more weeks is enough for them to come to an agreement?
Pacquiao might have refused the drug testing initially, now he is ok with it. He might have wanted more money, now he is ok with less. How about Floyd? Anything that makes fans feel he truly is willing to compromise just to make the fight happen?
Thing is you guys support his take it or leave it stand, because he is the A-side blah, blah, blah. Which just indicates you really don't want the fight yourself. Why would anyone not want that fight?
Because their boss Floyd does not want it. There cannot be any other reason.Comment

And manny is Floyds best option by far?? they will both make over double more then usual? Signing what?Point is it is much greater than Manny will get in any other fight , and if he wins then in the rematch he is the A side getting the much bigger slice , alternative is Vargas and 300k PPV .
Floyd is Mannys best option by far , so why isnt Manny signing the contract to fight , he saids its not money , its not the testing , its not the date , then why isnt Manny signing ?Comment

Man this he said she said for both Pac/Floyd and Canelo/Cotto is getting really annoying.
If there is nothing to announce then all sides need to STFU.
This board is here for fans to voice their opinions and predictions but these every day snippets of no factual information derail the conversation.
May have to take a month of this site until this shakes out..Comment

Again, the discussion was about Floyd but I see you tried to justify what I said by saying "Manny"P-will and sergio wanted to fight both, you aint telling me nothing new dude. You believe the bull****ter floyd about guererro, but if you want to disregard everything he says about wanting to fight pac and be a hypocrit, thats on you buddy not me... you do notice everything you said were to discredit floyd right?? What about pacquaio?? Looks like someone has an agenda here!
This whole debate me and you are having here a predicated on the facts i stated about floyd "not wanting to fight southpaws" i mention some fighters, you do what you do and spin it blindly forgetting those same guys called out manny as well, but he gets a pass because he too small doe? No risk for pac, jus too much size??
pac ducked them both and should be held to the dame standard yet youre forgetting all that happened.. you should really learn to stay neutral when posting... just something to think about..
But onto another question, floyd fought southpaws but why hasnt pac fought any prime elite quick african american fighter besides bradley in his entire career ?? Too much risk perhaps? ? I Dont want to hear nothing about oldsley either.
So I provided to you quotes on 3 southpaws that were too risky for Floyd. I could have also named Winky Wright, who Floyd clearly ducked too.
Manny:
We kept on hearing that then Manny faced a young P4P fighter in Bradley. At the time, it was stated that it would be a lot of risk for Manny and so on. Manny beat him twice. There were others in the lower weights but unless you know of some others that Manny should have fight but did not, what is the point?
If Manny moved up and fought several 154 fighters at 154 at the time, trust me, I would have called Manny out too BUT we BOTH know that is not the case. Also, if they looked good against Margarito and felt that they could face the bigger men, they would but during training camp for Margarito they realized that Manny may do it and may win but it would be physically challenging in several ways. Manny can still make 140lbs today if he finds the fights. So that shows what size Manny really is.
Sergio Martinez
"Manny is too small, it is a mismatch."
WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez shocked the entire boxing world at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. In a rematch of last December's "fight of the year" candidate, Martinez used a single left hook to knock Paul Williams out cold in the second round. A crowd of 5,502 were left stunned at the New Jersey venue.Comment

I hope they just announce something.
Yes they are or no we aren't.
This fight has been negotiated for 5yrs, they should have been able to get this signed asap.Comment

There's no need to negotiate in 5 he press. The less said the better. The more I hear about deadlines, the less I believe this fight will actually happen. I think it's 50/50 as to whether it happens. What do you guys think?Comment
