Floyd has certainly seemed to slow down and become more hittable in just his last 3 fights. That said if this fight happens expect a highly motivated FMJ. That could be a good thing, could be a bad thing at this age. Floyd will also have lots of adrenaline going in the first 6 rounds, he can say what he wants but he will be a little intimidated by Pacman and rightly so. Floyd will also be dealing with a uniquely awkward southpaw who is faster than anyone he has fought, has power in both hands and will probably force him to fight at a very high work rate. Lots of challenges.
Pac has some too. He seems to be slowing just a bit, seems to have lost a touch of his power. He will be facing his fastest opponent with a great counter right and by far most crafty opponent defensively too. You can bet Pacman will be super focused and intense wanting to prove to all that he is the king.
To me if Pac can catch and hurt Mayweather early, he likely punishes and bruises a back pedaling Floyd for the next 12. If he gets into a cat and mouse game with Floyd and lets him fight his fight, Mayweather very well could pot shot him most of the night, winning a decision.
Im flipping on this fight and picking Manny by TKO, yup I know thats bold but Floyd is looking less Floyd here lately

I still want to see the fight but my opinion is still the same since 08 and hasn't changed. Mayweather is too big, longer reach better defense and can adjust to anyone's game plan. Manny had 12 years, 3 weight classes, youth and experience at WW to beat Marquez and he could never figure out Marquez EVEN with the great Freddie Roach in his corner. Pacquiao can't bring nothing to the table that Mayweather hasn't seen already and for people talking about Pacquiao's power. If Mayweather can take flush power shots from Mosley and Maidana and still stand up and fight then Manny has no chance at KO'n Mayweather. I don't care what no Pacquiao fan says. Floyd style is all wrong for Pacquiao and the fact that Roach said Pacquiao has to be perfect in order to stand a chance against Floyd says it all.
no chance at KO'ing Floyd? please dude. FLoyd almost got KO'd against Maidana in their 2nd fight. I was really really shocked that he was caught by that punch and shaken too. Actually I was even more shocked that he constantly let himself be backed into a corner and positioned into those right hands.
Pac can trouble any fighter out there and Pac brings lots to the table Floyd hasn't seen before. It's easily arguable that Manny won every fight against Marquez up until their last encounter and I thought he was beating the piss out of an obviously roided up Marquez until he made one mistake and got tagged by a perfect punch. I will say you are right he seems to be hit with a lot or rights but Floyd will have to be very aggressive to do this and Im not sure thats gonna happen. Should be a great fight...if it happens.
