On February 6th at Beau Rivage Casino and Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi, Jermain Taylor defends his IBF middleweight title versus 'The Latin Snake' Sergio Mora. Waiting in the wings for the victor will be Hassan N'Dam, who defeated Curtis Stevens back in October in a final elimination bout.

So can we go with the assumption that Mora/Taylor will definitely fight N'Dam in early April? Or is Haymon allowed to announce Mora/Taylor vs Quillin/Jacobs on Feb 7th?

If Mora/Taylor fights anyone other than Ndam, it wont be for the IBF title. The IBF doesnt mess around when it comes to mandos.....

Jacobs is still a meal ticket out.... Unless WBA order teir own mando with the super

Most likely WBA goes the more money route.... As many fights as possible with three champs

dont forget he's with hymen though, he'll probably ask golovkin more than $1m and the fight should be on showtime if GGG disagrees, he'll be called duck by ****** fans

I agree except that the IBF also has a policy that a unification fight is allowed to take precedence over a mandatory. Normally I would say N'Dam's screwed in this case, but the time crunch makes it interesting, giving that the voluntary is on Feb 6th and negotiations are ordered to begin on Feb 8th. I expect Haymon to get the exception to secure a MW unification fight, he's desperate to put on big shows this year and he could sell that to the public (even though we know it's hardly that big a fight).

The WBA wouldn't even order the regular champ Jacobs to fight the interim champ Chudinov. Chudinov's promoters tried to make the fight a couple times last year and said negotiations were difficult. It'll be interesting if Quillin/Jacobs have any interest in Eubank after he beats Chudinov for the interim belt.
