        Clenbuterol and Stanazolol -

Clen is an asthmatic drug, but if you do not have asthma there are huge anabolic effects. Briggs, for example, is perscribed Clenbuterol. He sees the anaboliv benefits but none of the cardiovascular ones as he actually does have a respiratory problem. However, if you do NOT have asthma, you see large cardiovascular gains as well as an increased metabolism allowing you to work harder and fuel more without the ill effects of a caloric deficit during camp.

Many fighters usually get caught with STanazolol, which is Winstrol. It for the most part does the same thing. Fighters take it for a speedy weight cut and all the other jazz as well.

        Boldenone -
This is another common one you see when an athlete gets busted. Not always in the fight game but in general as it helps your body store nitrogen which in turn helps with keeping lean weight during say, a cut - or long cardiovascular activities on a regular basis. It also makes the kidneys work harder and synthesizes vitamin D and C so that red blood cells are more plentiful. That means you bring in more oxygen and increase cardio.

        Nandrolone
Is a super common one and one I believe a lot of fighters who've enver been caught using, use. Many of the cases in MMA and Boxing right now involving TRT are often times legit. Fighters encounter low Test levels and require TRT however will go overboard and reach Test ratios far higher than what is legal. The reason for the low test is generally because of failed PCT (post cycle therapy) cycles of nandrolone.. wich works a lot like Bondenone without any visible side effects. This is MASSIVE in MMA. I can name several fighters who were caught withNandrolone in their system before the TRT craze... those same fighters (and more) eventually either admitted or were caught doing TRT as well.

Josh Barnett, Stephen Bonnar, Nate Marquardt, Royce Gracie, and Sean Sherk are the most notable.

        Testosterone Replacement Therapy/Hydroxytestosterone -
Self explanitory, actually. Many fighters will go the Hydroxy rout instead to try and beat the system. he hydroxy-T is ****, though, and runs it's course very fast. Since this is a boxing forum - both Berto and Peterson were said to have done one or the other. Peterson admitted to doing TRT with a Soy (natural) based testosterone injection while Berto had masking agents in his system like Novadex and HCG that are meant to get the body functioning on it's own again after unnatural assistance.

        Drostanolone -
Allows for weight cut without losing any muscle mass. A drug I have no problem admitting that I am currently using. It has no anabolic benefits in terms of putting on size and strength.. it just allows you to retain whatever strength gains you saw during your bulk after your cut. It doesn't assist the cut, however - as all the work still must be done and the diet must be followed. It simply just keeps your strength where it was prior to.

There are MANY other PED's but these are IMO the most common you'll see in the fight game as all the other are meant to promote growth and have nasty sides, do harm to cardio (fighting is a cardio based sport) and dont assist in the things that matter.

There are also other drugs that may not be PED's.. but fighters will get caught with them rather often as masking agents. These are:

        Diuretics and Marijuana

Lastly, THE best PED for any endurance sport (you see it a lot in cycling, not sure how many fighters actually use it. MMA testing is a joke and this one is easy to skate by despite it's massive cardio gains) is

        EPO -
Look up Gene Doping.. it's a bit deep to get into. But it's some good stuff. I personally look foward to trying it one day.

Three important things for sports fans to know about blood transfusions are that they are banned in Olympic sports, that they are complicated enough to require a small conspiracy (which only creates more witnesses than other doping schemes), and that blood transfusions were more or less undetectable throughout Armstrong's career.

            VERY informative post, thank you.
PED use seems to be on the rise and more prevalent than ever before..

A little more on Blood Doping:

"Blood doping is defined by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) as the misuse of techniques and/or substances to increases ones red blood cell count. Most commonly this involves the removal of two units (approximately 2 pints) of the athletes blood several weeks prior to competition. The blood is then frozen until 1-2 days before the competition, when it is thawed and injected back into the athlete. This is known as autologous blood doping. ****logous doping is the injection of fresh blood, removed from a second person, straight into the athlete.

A second method of blood doping involves the use of artificial oxygen carriers. Hemoglobin oxygen carriers (HBOC's) and Perfluorocarbons (PFC's) are chemicals or purified proteins which have the ability to carry oxygen. They have been developed for the****utic use, however are now being misused as performance enhancer's.

Tests were introduced in 2004 which are capable of detecting the use of ****logous transfusions and the use of artificial oxygen carriers. Although a suitable test has not yet been developed to detect autologous blood doping.

After the development of EPO, the use of blood doping fell considerably, however since the development of a test for EPO detection and the lack of testing for autologous doping, it is again on the rise."

I guess "The Sweet Science" means different things to diffferent people.

You are a ****** to the fullest...a vampire facial is not a blood transfusion
Vampire facial = platelet rich plasma. Which consists of 2 tea spoons of blood taken from under your arm and injected in your face to rejuvinate your skin.........now if your talking about what lance armstrong did its different that's called. EPO or ERYTHROPOLETIN which is boosting the red blood cells with oxygen for better performance.......research both before you go on a rant
Talking crazy while holding pacs kok in your hand
