Comments Thread For: Ryder vs. Sherington Added To Joshua-Johnson 1/31 Bill

John Ryder now has an opponent for his January 31 undercard appearance at O2 Arena in London, England. If BJS has relinquished the British title having won it out-right should we not be looking @ Ryder/Eubank Jnr & Blackwell locking horns?

Eubank Jr. is fighting Chudinov for an interim title next month. Ryder already had this fight on the books, so it's entirely possible he faces Blackwell later this year, though I presume such a fight—if ordered—would wind up going the purse bid route

Rider-Eubank-Blackwell mini tourney for the British would be great.

I think I'm right in saying the BBBofC stipulate that if a British champion fights for a World title the Lonsdale belt becomes vacant. So how come BJS, Paul Smith & Paul Butler are still champions?
