Comments Thread For: Marquez, Beltran To Meet To Discuss Boxing Future

Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions will be meeting with former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) to discuss the boxer's future. Marquez, 41-years-old, has been out of the ring since May. The boxer wanted to return in late 2014, but couldn't do so because of a lingering knee injury. He tried to resume training at the end of the year and pulled back after his knee began giving him problems. There is the possibility that Marquez will retire.

No comment on the roid thing but he is at the age where that stuff happens. Just like Martinez, he was about 38 when the knees started to go.
