According to the European Boxing Union, Lukasz Janik (28-2, 15 KOs) could soon be getting a crack at undefeated EBU-EU cruiserweight champion Bilal Laggoune (18-0-1, 9 KO). The 22-year-old Laggoune won the title on December 6, defeating on points Stjepan Vugdeliję. The next appearance for the champion is likely at the beginning of March, and then a quick return a month later - this time to defend the belt - and it possible that fight will be against Janik, who won two in a row since the November 2013 twelve round majority decision loss to Ola Afolabi.
