I made a similar thread. I think Cotto and Mayweather already know their fighting each other. Mayweather just wants to string Arum and Goldenboy along and make them believe they have him by the balls.
Mayweather wants no part of Pacquiao and knows if Canelo/Cotto happens for May 2 he'll be forced to back off that date unless he fights Pacquiao.

Well Roach doesn't want Manny to fight above 147 anymore and this is proof when he wouldn't even fight Cotto in a rematch above 150 pounds. They even wanted Canelo to be at 150 pounds. Its just is what it is in this matter. Too much of a risk.

152 PAC vs Canelo, fight of the year 2015, Canelo would get completely peppered for 12 rounds and possibly get TKO'd late due to his atrocious stamina.

Prime pacquiao against canelo would be easy work, past prime pac against the canelo mayweather fought at 152, pac still takes it. These big guys have one gameplan against pac, to bully him, thinking he is too small and they can walk thru him, and thats exactly what will canelo do, and everything will be wrong for him. He got tired against a pot shotting floyd, how much more against someone like pac who will make him work even more. Pacquiao does better when fighting backwards than when he is chasing. One wrong step though and canelo KO's him.
