Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) will only get better as he enters a fight with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs), according to the British star's trainer Virgil Hunter.
Khan made his welterweight debut in May 2014, winning a twelve round unanimous decision with three knockdowns over former WBA welterweight world champion Luis Collazo. He then came back in December to win a dominating twelve round decision over former two-division champion Devon Alexander.
