Comments Thread For: Denis Boytsov To Return on Abraham vs. Smith Card

Heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (35-1, 26 KOs) will continue to build on his recent wins with a return on February 21 in Berlin, where he will face an opponent to be determined on the undercard to the Arthur Abraham vs. Paul Smith middleweight rematch. Since losing a shocking upset decision to Alex Leapai in November 2013, and overcoming hand injuries, Boytsov came back in August to win a ten round decision over Timur Musafarov and then came back in December to win an eight round decision over George Arias.

Boytsov always used to be ripped but came in pudgy and out of shape for Leapai -- he was huffing and puffing by round 3.

Boystov has been matched up against sub par and average competition his whole career and he's suffered because of it. His handlers need to start stepping this guy up

Boytsov vs. Szpilka would be nice.

Not gonna happen - Szpilka is too big a risk for Boytsov.

Wouldn't mind seeing Boytsov vs Charr though
