Idk why he's even worrying about Mares still. He knocked him out a rd and it looks like Abner isn't trying to avenge that lost either. Gonzalez should focus on Walters and Lomachenko.

Johnny knocked Mares out the first time, and he's asking for the rematch lol. I guess I can't fault him for wanting a nice pay-day against someone he's already beaten. I'd rather see Mares/Santa Cruz.

As far as a rematch - Mares looked like he added some more muscle to his frame in this last fight..he looked so small when he fought Johnny, I know it wasn't the main factor but he might be able to take JG's punches a little bit better and at least working himself into the fight.

Doesn't really matter to me whether it happens or not, all these fights are no-brainers so I'll just sit back and enjoy.

Hoya wants to make LSC vs Mares at a catch weight of 124. I hope that fight happens, but I would like to see Hoya and Arum make Gonzalez vs Walters also. I got Mares beating LSC by decision, and I got Walters beating Gonzalez by KO. If these fights happen.
