A Floyd/Golovkin PPV would not draw more than 800,000 PPVs, or about the number that Robert Guerrrero drew, because GGG is only a PPV star on this message board with its 300 or so posters. No one outside of this message board cares about GGG. Also, some of the other numbers are pure fantasy also.

A more realistic list would look like this:

    . Floyd - Gennady...................800,000 PPVs
    2. Manny - Floyd.......................2.5-3 million PPVs
    3. Saul - Gennady.....................300,000 million PPVs
    4. Manny - Juan Manuel.........1.1 million (at most) PPVs
    5. Ruslan - Floyd.......................800k PPVs
    6. Saul - Miguel.......................~600,000 PPVs
    7. Saul - David Lemieux..........30,000 PPVs (including Canadian buys)
I understand from your earlier posts that you see these fights from only one perspective, but please motivate why you changed my estimated numbers and I will counter your comments.

Gennady is the best fighter at 154-160lbs, and the PPVers want to watch the best fighters.

Canelo and Floyd will give Gennady the best fights and that's why the PPVs will be high.

Canelo's fight with Gennady will be action-packed, so almost all boxing fans will watch it.

Floyd's fight with Gennady will be Floyd's biggest challenge since Jose Luis Castillo. Gennady is a bigger challenge than Manny, who is very small, and the American people reward fighters who take difficult challenges. Hence a higher PPV.

You can only fool the fans for a short period of time because the truth will come out sooner or later.

Nobody outside of hardcore boxing fans know who the hell Golovkin is. Seriously....Victor Ortiz is more well known. It likely wouldn't even do as well as Floyd's fight with him.

You can't be this out of touch with reality

Gennady is the biggest challenge for Floyd at 154lbs, and if the PPV is less than 2 million, I will eat my shoes.

It depends on how dramatic the promotion will be. I expect much higher PPVs than in their fourth encounter because of the drama.

Because of Ruslan's one punch knockout potential, I expect more.

This is an HBO event, which you might hate. However, they will easily reach 600k

The only correct estimate is Mayweather-Pacquiao 3-3.5 million buys.

This will be the first fight to ever surpass the 3 million mark.

Manny Floyd would do close to 3mil no other fight breaks 1.2mil if that.

There's going to be a backlash if those two don't end up fighting yet again add to that they are running out of options as genuine opponents, their numbers are going to keep dropping.

Floyd will never fight GGG and you can't blame him for that and Cotto 2 would do ok at 160 but it's been done before and wasn't that great a fight or controversial so it won't do great numbers.

That Victor Ortiz is well known, doesn't mean people want to watch him fight.

Golovkin is very well known in the sports-world because he is an extraordinary talent. The sports-world love great athletes like Golovkin, and casual sports fans would love to watch him fight Floyd.

The sports-world is used to find new sports heroes every week, the process is dynamic, and Golovkin has been found.

No he's not and even if he was, you need to attract casual fans to even come close to drawing those numbers and even then it wouldn't come close to 4 million....lol

Casual fans don't know who the hell he is.
