I think Hearn's confidence was misplaced. He's even talked down the fact that DeGale v Groves II would be for a world title in his recent Q&A. If DeGale and Groves want their world title shot, it looks like they'll have to take on the Dirrell's. DeGale v Groves probably isn't gettting mandated for the IBF. It'd take some step aside money from Matchroom for that.

The IBF is pretty good about following it's rules. Groves won't be allowed to jump up the rankings for a title shot.

i would love to see carl connect on de"gays" chin but, he dont need it and if a BIG fight does not materialise retire with the memory of some exciting fights and the rep of a granite chin and fearing nobody at the top will go with him.

DeGale is an easy fight for froch

Bearcat thinks mmmm? Frock Ko's groves twice. DeGale loses to Groves. MMMM? Ward and GGG beat Froch Badly if they fight. Froch might as well take the easy british way out and fight DeGale. Bearcat knows all?

I'd bet on Degale. He would beat Froch to the punch and that straight left would find a home.

He is more considered than Groves and seems to have stopped lying on the ropes. If he did that against Froch he would be beaten severely.
