Maidana does his work early and Margarito does his work late, it would really come down to when Margarito really gets started or when Maidana fades. It would be all about the middle or if Margarito could finish the job.

I think Margarito would beat Maidana in a slugfest. Maidana got dropped by Khan to the body. I would imagine that Margarito would beat him ala Cintron

While I think Maidana is the overall better fighter, I think Margarito just has the right style to possibly stop him in a war.

Extremely strong chin, ridiculous stamina, and high work rate mixed with body punches are what I think the keys are to beating Maidana, all of which Margarito has.
