Unbeaten lightweight Ivan Redkach will fight Yakubu Amidu in a 10 round bout on January 9.

The bout will headline a DiBella Entertainment card that will take place at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California. In the co-feature, unbeaten junior middleweights Patrick Day and Alantez Fox collide in an eight round bout.

Both bouts, along with the eight round bout between middleweights Ievgen Khytrov and Maurice Louishorne, will air on a "ShoBox: The New Generation" telecast on Showtime Extreme.

Redkach hasn't quite looked as good as his impressive early performances seemed to promise in his last few fights, though he's certainly a battler.

Likewise, Khytrov, though significantly better and an undeniable KO monster still has significant work to do on tightening up his defense.

Both these guys are relatively recent Haymon signings, which leaves a bit of a 'what next?' over their career progression - Khytrov is probably ready to be stepped up faster than Redkach IMO, though neither need to mollycoddled.

I suspect that (like their 100+ stablemates) these guys' futures now hang substantially upon what fruit Haymons long anticipated power-play bears in the next year or two.

So they switched Khytrov's opponent this guy is about the same going by his resume he was on hiatus for 5 years and has 3 bouts since he returned my impression on what happens remains the same KO1.

Alvantez Fox is interesting he's 6'5 LT Middle/Middleweight

Redkach is a mid-level brawler not much else but this is actually a decent matchup could turn into a nice little scrap.
