wtf is it with people bringing up the Floyd vs Maidana match, it wasn't even close to being considered debatable, floyd clearly won against a dirty ass maidana

The articles list 7 fights that are perceived to be robberies, but only 3 of them were true robberies, Cave-Escandon, Herrera-Benavidez, and Glazkov-Rossy.

The only thing that was wrong with the scoring of the Algieri-Provonikov fight was that it wasn't scored a UD for Chris. I personally thought that after the second round that Chris easily dominated the plodding Russian. And if it was such a robbery why towards the end of the fight was Roach telling his fighter that he needed a knock out to win? If I remember correctly I believe Andre Ward also scored the fight for Chris.

Herrera did not get robbed vs Benavidez, herreras punches all came when bena decided to lay in the ropes for about a minute of the round with his guard up. Herrera hit him with the weakest body shots I've ever seem, they had no effect. Then Benavidez would rock him with a string uppercut and outbox him the other two minutes of the round with much stronger punches. He landed 50 more punches to the head than Herrera, and was much more accurate, while his punches were 10x as strong. Herrera didn't land one single punch that even snapped Benavidez head back or even seemed to bother him a little but. Benavidez was rocking Herrera with uppercuts and straight rights and left hooks all night and they hurt Herrera.

i really feel bad for mauricio herrera. he should be the #1 ranked jr welterweight with 2 successful defenses right now. but i don't think ring magazine even has him ranked in the top ten at 140 which is a complete shame.

Didn't watch the fight, but from what I hear Bradley/Chavez deserves a place on this list, especially over the Provo/Algerie fight

I agree. I never understood why people yelled robbery after that fight. I remember the pre-fight interview and thinking that this Algieri guy was going to get steamrolled. After the fight, I thought he won. I've watched it again since then and still think he won. People still had too much of a hard on for Provodnikov then I think.
