"I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown ***els I wouldn't want to risk it."

Go watch the Floyd interview with Bob Costas. The way he talked about Pacquiao you could tell he was terrified. Said everyone wants to see the fight but no one will care for him when he gets done like Ali. Not a verbatim but that was the gist of the interview. Was eye opening for me as it was clear that Floyd has built up Pac in him mind as a boogyman that should be avoided at all costs.

"I am in the game to win, not just inside the ring, but outside the ring,"stated Mayweather. "My health is more important than anything"

Costas then countered with, "Are you implying there is something to fear in Manny Pacquiao?"

Yep, Ali said that about Liston, and I think he said that's why he ran his mouth so much before the fight. I might be getting that part wrong.

And in a round robin interview that was videotaped that someone put up on this site a while back shows Eubank indicating apprehension of being able to beat Jones. He was right. Under no uncertain terms does he or any super middleweight ever beat prime 168 Roy Jones.

I'm thinking if a boxer was truly scared of an opponent they wouldn't get in the ring so all this after the fact talk doesn't make sense.

Being afraid to lose is not the same as fearing injury or death.

The only one I've seen looked scared to death was Spinks when he fought Tyson.

                      Floyd fears both.
