That is going to be tough considering the possible opposition but I do wish him good luck.

For him to do big numbers this year he needs Canelo to wreck Cotto and feel so gutsy that he fights Golovkin this year without a fight between. Even Ward at this point if that was to happen this year I think is on regular HBO, for big money but on regular HBO. That fight can be big but Ward needs to get back on the horse and Golovkin needs to do something at 168 preferably splashy.

He deserves to. I would like to see him land Cotto and then Canelo. After GGG finishes them off, then the losers can fight each other.

Then Ultimately GGG will lose to Andre Ward. That will be the only loss of GGG's career unless they fight again.

Nobody wants to see you fight Canelo, Cotto, Mayweather, or Chavez Jr. besides fanboys and haters.

Fight Froch. Fight Ward. Fight Kessler. Fight Kovalev. Fight Stevenson. Fight Beterbiev. You are P4P one of the hardest punchers in the sport, your power will easily carry up to 168 for a fight vs. a SMW or up to a catchweight between 168-175 for a fight vs. a LHW. You get no credit for walking through a WW (Mayweather), JMW (Canelo, Cotto), or a circus act (Chavez Jr.) Those fights will good for your checkbook but they do not do anything for your legacy.

Go to 168 and fight Froch, Ward, Kessler, or Andre Dirrell. Challenge yourself.

GGG better start looking like he can be beat cause if he keeps bulldozing people then he's never gonna get a big time fight unfortunately.. You already know he's staying as far away from Ward as he can.. I think GGG vs Froch would be a GREAT scrap. I'd pay for that... Make it happen.

            Crazy bird

Pigeon you want ggg to go up 2 divisions be outweighed on fight night against Kovalev by 20+lbs but God forbid Mayweather did such a thing or at least catch weight fights against ggg, ward his 2 biggest threats its ok maybe a third maidana fight or a Guerrero rematch. You don't have same rules for Floyd why?

Naw dude, just send him straight into heavyweight so he can fight wilder. I have never seen a guy who is trying to clean out his division, and at the same time, people keep wanting him to jump up one or two weight classes right of the bat,and fight the best in those divisions, just to prove that he's good. Thats like asking Floyd to go from fighting at 154,to meet GGG at 160 and ward at 168,just to prove his legacy. But hey,Floyd should challenge himself too, right?

He's trying to clean out a division that is putrid. The lineal champ's best days came at WW, and Taylor and Lee are two of the weaker champions in boxing's 17 weight divisions.

I don't know why you are trying to compare Mayweather and Golovkin. Mayweather is 37, Golovkins is 32. Mayweather has been a pro for over 18 years, Golovkin is at 8 years. Mayweather has conquered 5 weight classes, GGG is at 1. Floyd has already gone up in weight... 4 times. Golovkin has yet to do it once. In fact, he continues to call out fighters from a division below his 1st weight class. Let me blow your mind... Mayweather's resume contains as many Hall of Famers (already inducted, not even talking about the future) as Golovkin's resume contains current/former titleholders (2). That is the truth. Mayweather has fought and beat as many Hall of Famers as Golovkin has fought beat current/former titleholders.

Golovkin should take notes from his Soviet compatriot two weight classes above him in Kovalev. Kovalev is fighting the best regardless of money, Hopkins, Pascal, and probably Stevenson after that. He doesn't care about who's most famous or who brings the most money. All he cares about is the legacy he is forging in this sport. Kovalev is the real fighter. I hope Golovkin realizes his potential and challenges himself.

I doubt GGG will get PPV fight in 2015, it is more like 2016. His schedule is 2 years late. Murray fight should have been 2 years before. Chavez Jr. will find courage to face GGG next year, Cotto and Canelo by 2017. This year best opponent will be Hopkins (PPV fight?).

An example for what would happen in the ring but go on YouTube real quick and look up golovkin and Chavez junior sparring. That was him going easy on chavez ,with head protectors and pillow gloves. And Freddie roach was ****ting himself in the corner.
I didn't say GGG was a bad fighter but a basic fighter without his power. Whether amateurs or pros GGG has always had the advantage of power and guys were getting rocked by him in the amateurs.

As to sparring, we all know you can't take much away from that since an actual fight always plays out differently and has a another level of intensity to it.
