What a fickle minded boxing fans we all are. aren't we forgetting?

a month ago after Pac vs Algierri Pac called out Floyd.

Pac fans having a field day at the board.

2 weeks later Floyd answered the call

Floyd fans having a field day even calling Floyd's interview a "call-out"

Pac fans Floyd fans business as usual back and forth battle of wits/******ity.

but one thing is for sure both of the sides agree its now or never. all or nothing. Floyd vs Pac or bust. no vargas for Pac and no khan, garcia for Floyd.

3 days later Arum said no may 2nd

Pac fans Floyd fans business as usual back and forth battle of wits/******ity.

Now we are talking about 2nd best option.

did we ever learn anything from the past

the reason why these divas do what they do is because we the smart discerning pure unadulterated boxing fans gobble up the 2nd best option with much eagerness as we do the first (and should be the only) option.

What a fickle minded boxing fans we all are.

Funny, I remember when Floyd said...

"People say Im too big for Marquez, but Im not too big for Pacquiao, but Pacquiao fought marquez 3 times... which one is it?"
160 would be Floyd's 6th weight class. GGG has been a MW his entire career. GGG-Cotto and GGG-Mayweather are mismatches. Mayweather-Cotto 2 is not.

Obviously I'm going to say Amir Khan, but that's my dude since, Day 1, however Cotto is a better fight legacy wise because he has the Lineal 160 lbs title, but we all know that is going to be contested at a catch weight, so much for that.

        Why are people voting Brook?

Cotto won the lineal 160 lbs. title at a catchweight. Only fitting that he defends it at a catchweight as well, but I would prefer the full 160 lbs. limit.

It's difficult to say without knowing exactly how much weight he carries Stateside but you'd have to assume that Khan has got to be there or thereabouts. He's been involved in entertaining fights over there and he's getting a lot of exposure at the moment.

The disquiet that is welling up on this site about him will do his chances no harm what so ever. The American fans that have grown to dislike him will be lining up to hand over their $95 to watch him get beat. The interest in Britain will be huge. Had he not have taken losses the chances are it would have already happened. The Hatton fight opened Floyd's eyes to the kind of revenue that can be generated from fighting Brits. Granted, Amir doesn't have the same size fan base that Ricky had but let's face it, not many boxers have.

If the risk/revenue ratio looks good to Floyd then the fight will happen. Getting precious about who 'deserves' the fight is nonsensical. He's not a benevolent benefactor doing what's right for the good of the sport, the man's a hustler, plain and simple. He wants your cash and he's gonna take it the easiest way he can.

I'd like to see him face a fighter with speed to see how he deals with it though I'd have no qualms about him fighting the other names on that list. At this point if it isn't Pacquiao, what difference does it really make?

Well Shaun Porter is coming last in the poll so Floyd will fight him I guess.

Isn't that how Floyd does it with these polls ?
