WBC flyweight champion Roman Gonzalez (41-0, 35KOs) received words of motivation from the recognized pound-for-pound king of boxing, WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The two boxers rubbed shoulders during the World Boxing Council's recent convention at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Both champions were honored by the sanctioning body. Gonzalez, now a three division world champion at 27-years-old, wants to move up to super flyweight to pursue a fourth title in 2015.

I know you are high on Inoue but you need to take the foot off the gas pedal for a few. Look, I'm sure Naoya beats Roman at 115 but that's primarily due to styles, I seriously doubt Roman Gonzalez would duck him. It wouldn't make sense if he did and Roman has balls, he wants to be great and he strives for it. Anyway the thread was about one champion recognising another champion and his abilities and I'm glad to see Roman receiving the attention he deserves.
