  • Comments Thread For: Salido-Martinez is Close For March 21 in Puerto Rico

Coming off his thrilling come-off-the-canvas victory over Terdsak Kokietgym in September, Orlando Salido (42-12-2, 29KOs) could be involved in another 'Fight of the Year' candidate to begin his 2015 campaign. It looks like he'll be facing perennial tough guy, Rocky Martinez (28-2-2, 17KOs), on his turf.

ill have to go with rocky in this one, salido just seems to be at the end of his career, although he won his last fight he got hit a lot, rocky is always in great shape and can take a punch, salido isn't a hard puncher but more of a volume puncher who can wear you down

I got Salido in an early candidate for FOTY - my boy Rocky has his chin too exposed and throws too many wild and looping shots that can get him caught.

Siri will be truly softened up for Verdejo to put an end to PR's nightmare

Salido needs to ko Martinez cause if it goes twelve rounds the crooked azz judges are going to give it to Martinez.
