Please man, you know Canelo has already agreed to take a major cut in pay, something like 60-40 and Cotto is probably pressing for 65-35 or 70-30.....we all know who is holding up this fight.

Do you know this through some piece of media or are you speculating based on your assessment of Cotto's personality/character?

Canelo wants the fight, Cotto wants all the chips. People are going to see, either make a deal or move on because that's exactly what Canelo is about to do. Remember when Floyd tried this stuff with him the first time around? Canelo told him to go take a hike, that point is not far off in this negotiation as well. I don't think Cotto is "ducking" him but he is trying to play some movie star role and he is going to be left out in the cold if he isn't careful.

Exactly right, Cotto's head is getting way to big. He basically said hes not putting any conditions on Canelo but he wants what hes "earned". This is a business and Canelo brings as much star power as does Cotto. This fight is a classic side A vs side A1 fight, not side A vs side B. Same thing with May-Pac

if cotto doesnt take 60-40, hes a bigger diva then i thought. Dude is so bigheaded is not even funny. Cotto is the A-side because hes been in the sport longer and has been doing it for longer. Out of respect he should be the A-side. But to ask for 70-30, if he is, is downright ludicrous. Canelo is a cash cow at this point and has a huge fan base, hes not fighting a Margarito or a Martinez with limited followers. Cotto better get his **** together and take the 60-40, if indeed that is the case.
