Tyson far more skillful than Mayweather!?

The way I see it Mayweathers genetics make his boxing style a lot easier to do than Tysons genetics/style, its really hard to get on the inside without being hit, it takes huge skill, its much easier to stay on the outside and counter/pot shot or shoulder roll and tie up if they get too close.

Tyson has better defence or at least equal and much better offence.

What can Mayweather do that Tyson cant , what makes Mayweather above Tyson skill wise in your opinion?

Tyson's defense was his offense. Simple as that. His opponents were too afraid of him to hit back. Once he started fighting guys who weren't affraid of him, he started losing.

Floyd is much more skillful, one of the most skillful fighters of all time, actually.

Tyson had a great defense and some incredible reflexes for a man his size.

Floyd is definitely a scurred punk but he has some crazy defensive skills. His offense is more metered out now but his speed is still top notch. I would say Tyson's coaching when he was young is better than what Floyd may have had...even though the Mayweathers have been in boxing a long time, they are egomaniacal and take too much credit for Floyd's success.

Tyson had supreme coaching by some of the best in the business and even though he was a smaller HW, his genetics were very, very good. The guy was a beast at like 16 or something, just naturally super fast and super strong. Adapting to training regiments was probably not hard for him to do. Floyd is also extremely naturally gifted and has adapted on his own as he has gotten older in order to remain successful. I think they are probably both equally gifted genetically but Floyd was able to live a healthier lifestyle and didn't have the mind of a psychopath to deal with.

About the only thing they have in common is that they are both counter punchers.

Tyson is a come forward counter puncher, difficult to deal with, had amazing head movement to come forward, incredible speed for his size and devastating power

Mayweather is more of a pick em counter puncher, who can utilize his reach to his advantage, has amazing speed timing and accuracy.

Only problem is, One is still undefeated, and the other let his demons get to him.
