Marcos Maidana is worried about the mental state of former opponent Amir Khan, after reading the recent statements that were made by Khan regarding their 2010 encounter. During a televised interview in Pakistan, Khan described his fight with Maidana as being a little bit more one-sided than people remember.

"Maidana was a fight where everybody said 'Amir is going to lose the fight.' I had everyone against me. They said 'he's going to get beat.' It wasn't bringing me down morally. I just had to prove something to people, prove everyone wrong. It's sometimes good to be the underdog because you get to prove everyone wrong. I went in there and beat this guy quite easily, by knocking him down and made him look silly," Khan told Pakistan Today.

Instead of chasing mayweather so much,khan should just rematch maidana.If the 2010 version gave khan all that he could handle and almost stopped him,then 2014 version would steamroll him. Maidana would take the fight in a heartbeat,and if khan can beat him again,he has his full proof arguement as to why he deserves mayweather.

He ended the Maidana fight running for his life lol. And Maidana was fat and trained by a corner drunk from Buenos Aires. This Maidana takes his life on a rematch. I have no doubt about it, that's why Khan stays ducking a the rematch hard.
