What type of fighter is that? The one you say PBF has experience with? I'm just curious as to what you think it is. Cuz that's BS, Floyd has never faced a relentless clinching pure slugger like Hatton..

yet you claim 'he has experience' with that type of fighter...

I think you meant to say, a slugger is at a stylistic disadvantage vs a pure boxer/boxer puncher hybrid, like floyd is.

Well going from each guys last fight and how they looked, I'd have to say Mayweather is the guy I'd favor in this one.

Hatton seemed confused and disoriented at times against Maussa. Although he did eventually knock him (CM) out, Floyds tricks/speed would give him more trouble than would the awkward style of Maussa.

Hatton would have to come through some punishment and he'd really have to have his footwork down to get inside on Floyd. It'd be a tough task but he does have a shot at simply wearing down Floyd and out-punching him in the later rounds (although we've really only seen Castillo do this).

I think it'd be a decision win for Floyd, but I wouldn't count out Hatton for a second.

boyfloyd did have problems with castillo.and if you think hatton is better than castillo then a fan will lean towards hatton.but again i have to reiterate my thoughts on the help hatton got from parris in the tszyu fight since none of his previous fights warranted the makings of a world champion. i mean look at the caliber of the fighters he fought before tszyu. hatton won't be allowed to get away with that stuff he thru against tszyu stateside.

Hatton himself is giving you the answer by screaming "TUNE-UPS" at the top of his lungs whenever Mayweather's name is brought up.

If he thought he can beat Floyd, he would have taken the fights that were already offered, and he wouldn't STILL be asking for "tune-ups".

A reigning, active champion asking for "tune-ups"?? huh?

when he faces pressure fighters, floyd backs onto the ropes and goes on defense. but hes never faced a pressure fighter like ricky hatton. hatton is the guy who stands the best chance at beating floyd mayweather.

                    hatton by TKO.
