Glad Rigo won, hope he could land a big fight again soon.
That's why he needs to move to 168 if he beats Martin Murray. He's almost 33. Arthur Abraham moved to 168 to joined the Super 6 tournament.

I agree, 168 would catapult him to stardom, seeing as how the division is stacked with big names. However Rigo is in a more challenging position, no big name really wants to fight him at his proper weight and at 126 the division might be too big for him.

All I pointed out with my post was the double standards he purists tend to hold against "brawlers", it's disgusting to say the least but I see it happen on here every day.

He has some good boxing skills, and 168 have some good fighters than 160.

Not really, for guys like Cruz, Frampton, Quigg and Walters... hell maybe even Donaire could be thrown into that mix all of those are big names and would likely attract more numbers, more numbers = more cash

Rigondeaux isn't like GGG, he doesn't try to make people want to watch him and he suffers and rightfully so.

                Sooooooo true!

Agendas arrive here and nobody will be brave enough to touch this comment because a lot have shown bias, the same people who are calling Rigo a god, greatest of our era are the same people who are saying GGG fights nothing but bums, he isn't good and so on...

Some people just want to sound elitist, or go with a crowd and when you say his style is boring to watch you have people on your case lol but the fact is it must be boring if people are leaving whilst his fights are still going on...
They paid for it and they left bored?

Some don't win you a gold medal in the Olympics and he fought and beat a lot of great fighters in the Olympics so what is holding you back from admitting he is a very skilled boxer?

I'm glad Rigo got knocked down.

Now more of the aggressive fighters will challenge him thinking that they can get the KO.

That aggression plays right into Rigo's style and we will see the very best from him in these fights.

                      Bring on Walters vs. Rigondeaux
