I'm glad to see a country that welcomes Rigondeaux's style and has shown their appreciation. Japan is one of the top countries in the lower weight classes too, so they'll definitely have some native competition for ze Cuban.

He still needs to get rid of those leeches doe.

Yes. There are plenty of ranked contenders from 118-126.

Definitely, but not just limit himself to Japan, there's also the UK, Germany, China, ect. Other countries that will surely welcome him. He needs to take his show on the road and be a traveling champion.

Ok lets make something clear, it was Agamasa that drew the viewers, not Rigo.

Don't you think Amagasa vs. the best 122-pounder in the world is a more attractive/prestigious fight than Amagasa vs. domestic-level Japanese fighter to boxing fans in Japan?

Naw, Amagasa is the cash cow of Asia.

This would be a great opportunity for Rigo if it indeed happened. The only (Mexican)American worth fighting is Santa Cruz, and there seems to be a bunch of drama down that path. Japan has a longer list of potential opponents at 118/122 and the fights may be easier to make.
