The right choice. And good shout out for Ruenroeng, who had three really good wins and never gets mentioned because he's overshadowed at flyweight by Gonzalez, Estrada etc. Good to see the smaller guys get some attention

        Amir Khan

He may not be popular but Amir Khan deserves at least a mention here. Mayweather has merely two hard fought decisions to his credit against an inferior appointment. Pacquiao equally thought two inferior opponents and gets a mention. Khan moves up a weight a defeats two opponents convincingly who were arguably superior to Khan. You just can't justify the mentions to Floyd and Manny without mentioning Khan. And I'm not even a Khan fan. I just don't like ignorance.

those first 2 knockdowns of narvaez in round 1 almost seemed like he was paid off. they didn't land that hard it didn't seem. reminded me of wilder-scott quite frankly

The KO as well. The reaction to the punch was way off. Not quite Wilder-Scott though, plenty of a punches landed unlike Wilder-Scott where neither guy even threw a punch before the KO.

So credit Kahn for beating a guy, whom is a guy that was beaten by a guy that Pacquiao dismantled?

              Makes sense to me

That's not my argument. If you were talking about who is the best outright then you have a point, but this is fighter of the year. Look... Floyd and Manny beat two guys, who with respect, they were expected to beat. Khan moved up a weight class and beat two guys who were well matched but he was certainly not expected to beat them, yet he did, easily. To me that's worth a mention. But if you really want to talk about it in a linear way then you can argue against Floyd getting a mention over Khan for beating a guy who Khan has beat, also Floyd ducked Khan even though his twitter poll swung in favour of Khan and there was more money to be made. Doesn't sound like a good "fighter" to me, just a shrewd athlete, a fantastic one at that. But anyway, that's not the point I'm making.

I still think Terrence Crawford had the better year against better, younger opponents.

Never have liked Narvaez or been impressed by his padded stats.

I do like Inoue though, great new face for the sport.

Inoue the humble Samurai warrior is undoubetly the fighter of the year and will be fighter of the decade but Crawford wasn't 2nd place in 2014. In all due fairness Cotto's a pretty close 2nd to Inoue because of the way he destroyed Martinez. It's simple...... as good as Crawford undoubtedly is, he didn't beat anybody as good as Martinez, much less destroy them the way Cotto did Sergio. Cotto will beat Canelo if they fight too, he needs to get in the ring and make that got damn $weet moolah already and stop ****ing around!!! Word.
