Golovkin and Wilder stepping up

Look @ Rubios career..

Beat Lemieux, Vanda, Baldomir, Zertuche, Brewer, Roman, Randall, Ornelas, lost SD to Ouma in which many thought he won.. Lost to Pavlik & Chavez but was obliterated by Golovkin! He was 59-6-1 with 51 KO's when he fought Golovkin... Wilder hasn't fought anyone with that kind of depth or seasoning! Liakovich was far more past it than Rubio was.... Rubio had only lost a decision war with Chavez in 5 years! Prior to that it was prime Pavlik.

I never even said anything about who is better between Golovkin and Wilder, I just say that I like both and can't wait to see them step up in their upcoming fights.

As for Rubio, those wins aren't on par with wins against Sturm and Martinez.

Daniel Geale, lol, GTFO. He lost to Barker, who got destroyd in 2 rounds by Murray's victim Felix Sturm.

That draw against Sturm don't mean sh!d, watch the actual fight, Murray got robbed. At least Murray is undefeated and got two signature wins, Sturm and Martinez, which, along with his undefeated record, makes him a much more interesting opponent than Geale, I was even surprised that Geale lasted more than 2 rounds against Golovkin, that's how unimpressed I am with Geale.

Macklin did a better job on Sturm. Go watch the fight...

Macklin was just as good as Murray when he was in form (He's faded now though) He fought a better Martinez too & acquitted himself well.. Murray was lucky he got a very faded Martinez.

Macklin, Murray, Geale & Rubio are all pretty much the same level on there best days. Its negligible the difference really... Don't be so pedantic & stop trying to rewrite history. Murray is just another solid B to B+ level MW, nothing wrong with that. Lee also is another very good B+ level MW...

Golovkin is just A level.

Murray is no better than Geale or Macklin when all is said & done really & if he is then the difference is negligible & not really worth arguing about because Golovkin will murder him anyway & he looked like **** against Bursak last time out so I think even he has already shot his bolt too & is just fodder for GGG at this point.. Arguing the toss about his worth alongside Geale etc when it is patently obvious he isn't on some other level to those guys just makes u look a twat...

So you disagree that Murray should have wins against Sturm and Martinez and that he should be undefeated? If you do disagree, then mention the best fighter Golovkin fought, this is by far the best.

Both decisions Murray got against Sturm and Martinez were perfectly fair. If you think he deserved the decision, that's fine too. Any reputation he earned for doing well against a certain version of Martinez though has since been erased by looking horrible in his last four fights. Don't see how anyone could watch those last four fights, and still be excited about a Murray vs Golovkin matchup.

Sorry bro, the guy who got a gift decision against Sergey Khomitsky is no longer allowed to be called a step up for Golovkin. He's the best available, not the best Golovkin will have faced as OP argued. Make believing he beat Martinez won't make the fight any better.

Geale I think is still the best guy Golovkin faced and will probably be for a while.

He didn't beat Sturm I remember that fight. I will watch the Sergio one again @ sum point but I remember it being close.. It doesn't really prove that much anyway considering how shot to **** we subsequently found out he was! Macklin v Murray at there best is 50/50.

Geale is more accomplished. Rubio is another win that is pretty much on a par with Murray & I don't understand why you are getting so upset.. LOL
