Cortez saved Khan in the 9th round - he could have legitimately stopped the fight as Khan was not firing back and also kept turning his back on his opponent.

Instead he gave Khan a rest and helped him survive.

I don't understand why Khan can't giver props to Maidana for a hell of a fight.

The 9th? It was the 10th where Khan got caught. Maidana had two full minutes in that round to finish him off and couldn't do it!

I never said he won easily. He dominated 3/4 of the fight, went to sleep and got caught by a Hail Mary overhand right which changed the fight.
