Comments Thread For: Warren Announces Tete vs. Butler Set For 3/6 In Liverpool

Zolani Tete and Paul Butler will take a second attempt at squaring off in the ring, as promoter Frank Warren announced the bout has been rescheduled for March 6 in Liverpool, England.

The bout was originally slated to take place this past October, only for Tete to have to withdraw due to suffering an injury in training camp. [Click Here To Read More]

Have the BBBofC stripped him of the British title? Surely it's time that Conlan/Yafai had a chance for honours!

I would have rather had seen Butler in with Narvaez first and then unify. This Tete is freakishly big for a superflyweight and they were complaining about Hall's size. This guy is bigger he is 5'9 with a 72 inch reach Welterweights like Amir Khan are smaller. One thing for a positive is that Tete is coming off of a broken hand and has not fought since July.

Im sure if they requested it they would get a shot at a vacant belt. Butler has never defended the title and won the title over 2 years ago.
