Why is Barry Hearn mentioned here when his son eddie is the promoter and gave the quote? And why do boxingscene insist on keep publishing guff from this idiot ' writer'? Two articles regurgitated from the same interview.

Also Barrera was just a name by then. Barrera at 50% would have had Khan for dinner. Collazo doesn't belong in with any half decent Welterweight in 2014, one win over todays Ortiz is meaningless.

The rest are all decent wins though.
Was Barrera's record at lightweight good then?

        Barry Hearn made the quotes.

As for collazo, did you watch him give andre Berto hell? The guy was avoided like the plague before Ortiz dared challenge him.

Please.....Collazo was and is way past it. He had no even half way decent wins in the last 4 years aside from Ortiz, and lost to Freddie Hernandez during that time. The Berto fight was further back from that even. I wouldn't even call Collazo a gate keeper at this point. Ortiz was off for almost 2 years after getting his jaw broke by a light welter, and mentally shot.

Khan's wins over an old Barrera and McKlosky were due to head butts. His win over Judah ended on an illegal punch from Khan.

Khan is not NEARLY as good as he's deluded himself into thinking he is.

It's cute how he thinks he's anywhere near Floyd or Manny's level.

No ones more delusional than big bazza hern with his triangle theories

also he keeps talking about "losses", well losses happen when u challenge urself, something his sons fighter has only done once...with respect

i respect the guy who puts it all on the line time and time again against stella competition as oppose to the guy being protected (99% of his career) because his promoter has no belief in'em

                There is some truth here.

Both fights were wins for Khan but far, far from convincing.

Even the UK media starting having doubts about Khan after McKlosky.

It is ridiculous to say Khan 'dominated' these fights, he squeaked through with a fair share of good fortune.

Looks like Hearn is the only delusional one saying Brook has a better chance.

Their jealousy of Khan is hilarious. Brook will never be as close to a big as Khan.

Khans win over Collazo is extremely underrated. Its actually one of the best boxing performances of the year, and an incredible win.

No fighter, among the many great fighters who have faced Collazo, have handled him like that. Khan floored and outboxed Collazo. No one schooled Collazo the way Khan did, or Devon Alexander.

Khan was a unified title holder, who defended for two years and has fought the best, and all styles. There will always be people desperate to challenge this, racists, mostly. But, he is one 5 best pure boxers on the planet, on Britains best pure boxer of the era.

Mayweather is the one that wanted to figth Khan, hence the contract.

So anyone claiming otherwise is the one that is delusional.

Khan just wants to fight the best fighter out there (Floyd).
