You know floyd once fought five lineal or #1 guy in five straight fights over 3 divisions vs 4 different weight class champions.....true champions not paper ones but guys that either were lineal or unified
Baldomir 147 champ
Oscar 154 champ
Hatton 140 champ
Marquez 135 champ
Shane 147 champ
I find that achievement amazing, this thread just reminded me of it.. I don't think we will see that again for some timeComment

Maybe Inoue could do it. He is planning to challenge Roman Gonzalez next. If he beats Roman Gonzalez, you may as well say he is going to go far.You know floyd once fought five lineal or #1 guy in five straight fights over 3 divisions vs 4 different weight class champions.....true champions not paper ones but guys that either were lineal or unified

It's good to see threads like this. Too much obsession over a boxer's money/ppvs this day and age.In the year of 2014, Naoya Inoue beat Adrian Hernandez for the WBC Light Flyweight Championship, He is fighting for the WBO Super Flyweight Championship tonight.
Has any fighter ever won a title in two different weight classes in the same year, in different fights. If Not, Naoya Inoue could be the first.Comment

Two of them he dragged up to 147 where they were too small for the weight class. Shane & Oscar were both quite past it when he fought them. Baldomir shouldn't had been Lineal in the 1st place as he didn't belong in that class. You know floyd once fought five lineal or #1 guy in five straight fights over 3 divisions vs 4 different weight class champions.....true champions not paper ones but guys that either were lineal or unified

But the fact that he did do this run is a feat, even barring the situations.Comment
