Does anyone know how odds work in the +/- format? When you have boxer A as -900 and boxer B as +300, how does that translate to the amount paid? I know the lower number means boxer A is the favourite.

It's pretty simple. Normally the +x or -x is called a moneyline in team sports but for head to head competitions it still works.Originally posted by FibreOpticDoes anyone know how odds work in the +/- format? Example: Boxer A is +350
Boxer B is at -350
That means if you put your money on Boxer A to win, for every $100 you wager you'll win $350. If you bet on Boxer B to win, that means to win $100 you have to wager $350. Understood?
