I thought Floyd was double the draw and the clear A side yet 2 almost Identical fights in almost indentical circumstances.

both in the US at the MGM

Both rematches of competitive controversial fights.

Both against well known but not high drawing fighters.

Both opponents coming off career best perfoemances.

Both in the last year.

Both for a WW title.

Both fights in the last year.


can do reportedly numbers that show no statistically significant difference ?

Can anyone explain this ? and please stick to just these 2 fights.

According to the rumors, Maidana 2 did 900,000 PPV buys and Bradley 2 did approximately 675,000 PPV buys. I don't think those numbers are too similar.
