Comments Thread For: Khan Gives Mayweather a Deadline of Mid-January

Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) is not making the same mistake twice. The Bolton boxer wasted half a year in 2013, and withdrew from a title fight, because he was under the impression that a deal was nearly complete to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) in May. That didn't happen. Mayweather passed him over in favor of Marcos Maidana.

Khan the P4p number 1, biggest ppv attraction in the sport calling all the shots

On the bright side, it's only two more weeks we gotta hear/read khans bull**** about Floyd

      Guy is obsessed

And this is why....he truly believes he would beat Floyd and in doing so, he will take the stardom, recognition associated with beating a bonafide all time boxing great. He wants it all from one fight, not by fighting a few other guys and building up his own resume.

Since when glass chin can can give the best fighter in the world a ultimatum. Floyd doesn't need him he needs floyd. Go fight Keith Thurman and get your ass knocked out. I'm tired of this guy.

Khan treating floyd like a boss...

Khan actually has some leverage... Floyd is really only down to manny or khan as legit opponents, maybe cotto.. If khan walks away, floyd may have no opponent in May

It's funny because Khan doesn't realize for the second year in a row, Floyd's using him for a bait & switch.

Khan could've let his balls drop and fought Alexander a year ago and then fought Floyd in May. Shawn Porter's left-overs aren't going to cut it.

I thought somebody tweeted last week that negotiations had already begun?

"...and if there are no signs he will come to the negotiation table, then I will look elsewhere"

This guy doesn't get it. Why does he continue to try to make the fight happen via the media.
