Olympic gold medal winner Rakhim Chakhkiev (21-1, 16KOs) will return to action in March or May, according to members of his team. The EBU/WBC silver cruiserweight champion has managed to bounce back in force from a June 2013 ninth round TKO defeat at the hands of then WBC champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk.

Since the loss, Chakhkiev has won five in a row and four of those wins came by knockout. Some of the contenders he put away before the distance included Santander Silgado, Giacobbe Fragomeni and Jackson Junior.
