Being a side in a super tight against canelo would pay more than being b side against may weather. Less fans will watch because that would mean may weather ducked andncherry picked yet again. And yes it is ducking by both of them and less money for both. A loss for cotto wouldnt hurt as bad as a loss against canelo because may weather is number one and he already beat him. A win however would propel him straight to the top. That is why he is considering taking a little less money to fight may weather because there's less risk to his career and more to gain. Typical al haymon esque move.

As for may weather it would be the biggest duck move in the history of boxing. I mean Manny made a foot locker commercial for gods sake and has been shaming him in public. I totally agree with your comment. I am fed up and disgusted with Mayweather for cherry picking and fighting boring fights. No I will not support his next fights unless is with Pacquiao. Mayweather vs Maidana 2 didn't even get my attention and Mayweather vs Cotto 2 certainly won't either. There is no way Showtime/TMT will offer Cotto 20 million, Showtime wouldn't make profits.
