Showtime won't be able to match hbo's offer for Cotto. They have to guarantee Floyd his 32mil. You really think they'll be able to afford to throw upwards of $10mil at Cotto? I don't think so. This is actually a great point.

it was actually cotto's fault in a strange way that destroyed showtime and made them lose so much money. floyd-cotto did really well on ppv and the dummies at showtime thought floyd would do that well every time out and gave him all that money without any control over opponents. it was a great haymon business move. floyd got his money and his easy opponents.
