How is mayweather cotto 2 more interesting? We already saw that and it wasn't a close fight. Canelo cotto are two brawlers and its a 50/50 fight and we haven't seen it. I could see if mayweather never fought cotton or if it was a really close fight or if Manny wasn't emvlbarrasing mayweather with a foot locker commercial but this is just pathetic and I expect a huge backlash from the fans and a boycott of that fight

At the level that Cotto is today, a Canelo fight will only bring $$$ and add nothing to his legacy.

A victory over FMJr., will place Miguel as the #1 on the PR ATG list and add to the 10th power to this legacy.

The only thing holding the Cotto vs Canelo fight are:

1. Canelo to agree to Miguel's terms, not the other way around and...

2. That Floyd's fights someone other than Cotto.

I said it before, King Cotto will take less money for the FMJr. rematch and go for his legacy than fighting Canelo that brings nothing but money.

This was the coward mayweathers plan all along. Cotto put up a decent fight against him but it was still nowhere near a close fight. There I no reason whatsoever for a rematch. Pretty much all boxing promotors (haymon included), title organisations and drug testing organisations that allow cheaters to slip through are the cancers of the sport.

99% of boxers are getting rammed up the d*ck from all directions in a unique sport where they lay their long term health and life is on the line. I think anyone who chooses a side or tries to justify a certain promoter is full of it.

Realizing that Bob Arum could very well kill Floyd/Pac and cotto//canelo. All because he doesnt promote Floyd or Canelo..im still waiting for Cotto to realize he doesnt need Bob for a Canelo fight...bob hopes he doesnt realize either

I'm ok with Cotto fighting Canelo, Floyd or GGG. They are all good fights. I think that Miguel Cotto beats Canelo by UD or late stoppage and has a very realistic/legitimate chance of beating Floyd this time around. Vs GGG it will be a very difficult fight for Cotto, due to GGG size and really good foot work and being able to cut the ring on Cotto, but hey, we know Cotto can box as well as brawl so who knows.
