This is why The beast COTTO will knock out Canelo. A veteran fighter (Cotto), who had fought the best of the best will exploit his expirience and corner (Fredie Roach) to overcome Canelo's slow skills. COTTO by TKO.

Hard to see Canelo no win. Cotto will not box but will actually fight Canelo but unfortunately it won't be in Cotto favor. Cotto doesn't and hasn't had much of anything notable past Welterweight. Beating a Hyped Forman, Past Prime Mayorga, a injured Martinez, and a weak Rodriguez doesn't mean a thing.

I'm not saying Canelo has done much more, his worst enemy being exposed (being out boxed) but I don't see Cotto out boxing Canelo. Personally I see it being a KO for Canelo.

Duran doesn't know about the Cotto/Roach/MacMillan connection. If he did he would've predicted Cotto by Knockout! WAR COTTO!

Canelo has fought the best of the best too, I even dare to say Canelo's last level of opposition has been far more dangerous than Cotto's opposition.

Cotto's - Trout, Rodriguez and Martinez . He lost to Trout, only impressive win was against Maravilla, can't argue there, that was a superb skills demonstration.

Canelo's - Trout, Mayweather and Lara - He beat Trout in a close fight, he was shutdown by Mayweather who's the best P4P today, and He won a close fight against Lara (to me the best 154 of the world).

You can argue that Cotto did better than Canelo against Floyd but styles makes fights and Cotto is gonna be there in the exchanges.

I favor Canelo on this one 70-30.

Floyd's blueprint on Canelo won't work for Cotto. Canelo moves too much (when not confused) while Cotto box and stalks. This time roach will be confused with no answers to the punishment Cotto will be taking. Canelo by decision or tko.

Fair assessment by one of the best to ever lace them, I give Canelo the slight edge too but I go back and forth.

Considering Canelo will be a Light Heavyweight in the ring against Cotto its not hard to picture a TKO victory for the red head.

I think Cotto starts off nice, but once Canelo lets his hands go I believe he won't have a hard time punching when Cotto does. Cotto has a nice bounce in his step, but Canelo showed he can land sharp uppercuts/hooks during the Lara fight.

Canelo's power is a little overrated but I think the handspeed will fluster Cotto when he makes his way inside to attack.

I would say Cotto has a good shot if he makes it past sixth granted he takes at least ~3 rounds, but I don't know who's gas tank I would rely on.
