Cotto is the A-side. Canelo hasn't beaten anybody that even puts him in that conversation. He is the champ so a 60/40 split is more than fare (if it went to a purse bid it would be 70/30 for Cotto).

IMHO, in terms of boxing qualifications, I would agree that Cotto is the A-side.

But in terms of drawing power, I find Canelo is the A-side, Mexicans are stronger PPV buyers than Puerto Ricans ...

I do agree that based on whether or not Cotto gets the deal he wants against Canelo then he may stand to make more rather than fighting Mayweather again.
