Cotto is the A-side. Canelo hasn't beaten anybody that even puts him in that conversation. He is the champ so a 60/40 split is more than fare (if it went to a purse bid it would be 70/30 for Cotto).

LMAO Cotto talking shhhh. At best he gets a $3 million offer from Floyd and some ppv sharing on the backend. He gets more off this fight upfront than he does from the other on the backend. He's fight Alvarez...just squeezing more money out of it.

He got $10 mil the last time with PPV (I don't even think Canelo got any PPV vs Floyd). Canelo needs to beat a guy like Cotto to become a bigger star. There is no one else Canelo can face that could move Floyd off of that May date. Cotto is the champ so he has more options (GGG, Floyd). Both those guys bring more money to the table for Cotto.
