Accra: Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Tagoe secured a knockout victory over his Tanzanian opponent Sa***i Momba to take the WBA Intercontinental Lightweight title at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Tagoe (22-1, 9 KOs) defeated his challenger in the sixth round to become the new champion, in a fight which was watched by a host of Ghana football stars, including skipper Asamoah Gyan, reports Xinhua.
