              • how do you make money off cards? lol so far the two cards I've put on lost money. Of course, all of the guys on the card were my own fighters, 1-0 records and not very popular, so that probably answers my own question there as to why they didn't sell too many tickets, but how do you get more people to attend your card, how do you attract bigger named fighters to come on?

Also, is it better to build up your stable fighting on "open cards" until they have respectable records of like say 7-0 and maybe have somewhat decent popularity and then make your own card and have those fighters featured? Or is it better to keep making these small time cards that potentially lose money and hurt your rep?

                Tips welcome, thx!

Keep the cards local and with local fighters - sign multiple guys from the same town until you build up their class and popularity

For the first 8-12 fights, just put them in w/ Journeyman. For the first 4-5 fights, put them in vs. level 3 and 4 journeyman so they can get KTFO - builds up popularity.

move them up to level 2 and 1 guys. Don't chase high level class too soon - because then the expectations will be too high and they'll get an elminator against a real tough SOB and get KTFO. Don't be afriad to bypass an eliminator or mandatory. Once you get a guy who you feel comfortable getting a regional title, get that. Make some money taking voluntaries. Having your guys on TV quickly raises popularity if they win

                  Move up little by little

are those 4 Japanese fighters that I pointed out available to fight on my card. If I can get my card to sell out, the more money I will bring in.
