We call it ducking when contenders and title holders at160 don't want to fight golovkin when he has 3 belts. I can see why it would look like GGG is ducking ward, but which would you rather see,an untested golovkin vs a rusty as hell Andre ward, or the unified middleweight champ vs the unified (in shape) supermiddleweight champ. Let golovkin keep gaining fame, and let ward come back and have his tune ups,and by then the fight will live up to the hype.

Cotto would beat Golovkin and there is a 50/50 chance that Cotto would stop him. Golovkin's career has been carefully orchestrated and he has never been in the ring with anyone who actually hit him back. That will happen if he fights Cotto, even though Cotto is past his prime, and Golovkin would look as lost in the ring as Martinez did against Cotto.

Nah man, based on the fact that Roach has been eluding to it since December, has said multiple times that he wants GGG after the Canelo fight, and pretty much all but hoped GGG has a big year so the fight can be big if it did happen.

But mainly because Roach said he wants GGG after the Canelo fight.

Could be hyperbole, but it is what he said and we'll have to wait and see.

Also Cotto said he would fight GGG for a 75-25 split so the fight is extremely possible.
